About
Different Tones is an art-assisted therapy group exploring the understanding and expression of emotion through various artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, sketching, etc.
Participants will be given individual projects to complete during session, with guided group discussion during and after completion. The group will have an emphasis the “big 5”: anger, sadness, fear, disgust, and happiness.
Themes explored during this group will include: what each emotion means, how these emotions are felt, how emotions are communicated to others, and how to live alongside these emotions day to day.
Participants are invited to share their experience and thoughts with hopes to inspire and prompt others to contribute to their collective knowledge and understanding of emotions.
All participants must complete this form before attending.
