Making the World a Lighter, More Fun Place to be a Human In
Isn't the world a silly place? In one day, hour, minute, or moment, we can experience incredible joy, love, and connection, then find ourselves face-to-face with sadness, fear, loss, or anxiety. While I can't explain why life works this way, I can help you navigate it.
One of the themes I return to most often in therapy is the idea of "normal." So many people walk into my office wondering if they're too much, not enough, too weird, too emotional, too different, or somehow getting life wrong. My challenge to that idea is simple: there are billions of people in the world. Who gets to decide what "normal" is? Instead of measuring yourself against an impossible standard, what if we started with the possibility that who you are is already worthy of acceptance?
My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. I approach therapy through a lens of unconditional acceptance, curiosity, and creativity. Together, we'll explore your strengths, make sense of life's challenges, and find approaches that work for you. It is my foremost goal that you see yourself as the truly unique, one-in-eight-billion person that you are. I also embrace the unorthodox in my office, pretty much any approach you desire is on the table, from art to exercising together, writing stories, role-playing, or creating math equations to explain how life works If you've ever felt like therapy wasn't designed for someone like you, let's get creative.

About Me
Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy pretending that I am a Victorian-era socialite. I love being with my friends, going out to try new bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. I also enjoy a lovely stroll through nature while listening to an audio book or podcast or snuggling up with my husband watching cooking shows (our newest obsession is World’s Worst Cooks, though we also love Next Level Chef). I don't limit making a fool of myself to the counseling session, and I also commonly find myself acting on stage. Fair warning: My office is currently full of turtles, so please don’t be too surprised.
I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you take the next steps toward the life you want.
